According to information from the US Coast Guard Southeast Region, the cruise ship began to list and take on water near Monument Island, Biscayne Bay (Miami), forcing rescue forces to urgently mobilize a rapid response team from the Miami unit to the scene.

All 32 people on board the cruise ship were evacuated safely, with no serious injuries reported.

However, what attracted attention was that instead of showing anxiety or panic, many people on the cruise ship were still excited, even laughing and filming videos when the authorities evacuated the cruise ship.

According to Daily Mail , a video that went viral on social media recorded girls passing life jackets to each other while the cruise ship was sinking, with a female passenger swearing.

Another girl clutched a $330 bottle of wine like it was a treasure, while many people tried to carry their designer bags as they left the ship. One woman even joked, saying, “It’s like the Titanic!” when being assisted by rescuers.

After being safe, the group of women continued filming the video, then continued their fun trip to Jungle Island, a famous amusement park in Miami.

The online community erupted with opinions, criticizing the "insensitive" reaction of the group of passengers. One person commented: "The ship is sinking, they should be scared but they are laughing and filming videos as if nothing happened. What's so funny about that?".

Tecnomar for Lamborghini 63 is a luxury yacht nearly 20m long, with a design inspired by the Lamborghini super sports car, priced at up to 4.5 million USD (about 117 billion VND).

This is a limited edition yacht, produced by supercar manufacturer Lamborghini in cooperation with The Italian Sea Group, can reach a maximum speed of 60 nautical miles/hour and only has enough room for 5 guests and 2 crew members.

The cruise ship carrying six times its permitted capacity has raised many questions about operational responsibility and maritime safety. The US Coast Guard Southeast Region said it is coordinating with relevant agencies to investigate the cause.

The incident occurred during the exciting weekend of the Formula 1 Miami Grand Prix, a major sports and entertainment event held at the Miami International Autodrome. The three-day event attracts hundreds of thousands of spectators and many celebrities each year.
