Putting into use the Infrastructure Project for aquaculture in Dan Thanh commune, Truong Long Hoa

The project includes transport infrastructure, with 12 roads (17.9km long; 3.5m wide); 09 bridges, 04 culverts. Irrigation, dredging of 04 canals, total length of 6.176km. Power supply system serving aquaculture areas, including new construction and renovation of 14.018km of 22kV lines; installation of 17 new transformer stations (250kVA/station); 13.914km of 0.4kV low voltage lines.

The infrastructure project for aquaculture in Dan Thanh and Truong Long Hoa communes ensures that the aquaculture area overcomes the lack of a supply and drainage canal system; and transports aquatic products. At the same time, it aims for a safe farming area and strictly manages diseases, the environment, etc.

According to Mr. Tran Van Dung, Deputy Director of the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development of Tra Vinh , in the past time, the province has invested in 11 projects serving the aquaculture area in the province, with an aquaculture area of about 13,961 hectares in districts and towns with large farming areas such as: Cau Ngang district, Duyen Hai district and Duyen Hai town.

In the period of 2026 - 2030, the province has proposed that the Central Government include in the medium-term public investment plan the implementation of 14 projects serving aquaculture areas in the province, with an investment cost of 1,900 billion VND for districts and towns such as: Cau Ngang, Tra Cu, Chau Thanh, Duyen Hai districts and Duyen Hai town.
