With the belief that everyone is equal before music , the music night is a meaningful gift for nearly 300 young people from social protection centers, shelters, children's villages or disadvantaged audiences, people with disabilities... in Thua Thien - Hue. The children not only enjoy music, but some also practice singing and perform with the choir in the program.

This is the first time nearly 200 members of the Green Wind Choir have performed in the ancient capital and is one of three destinations (Hue, Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi ) on the choir's concert tour in 2024.

The concert brought familiar Vietnamese melodies and tunes such as Bac Kim Thang , Rainfall , Ly Ngua O , Nguoi Ha Noi , Xin Chao Viet Nam ... in a new form of expression with many layers of emotions. In particular, with the permission of the late musician Hoang Luong's family, for the first time, the work Five Drops of Water was performed at the concert as a story about the journey of Five Drops of Water across five continents.

Green Wind has organized 3 concerts in 2020, 2022, 2023 with a total of 8 music nights in 3 cities: Hanoi, Ha Long and Da Nang, attracting nearly 6,000 audiences, including more than 1,000 guests who are young people in special circumstances from 18 organizations and social protection centers in all 3 cities.

“Being present in a high-quality auditorium, listening to good music and beautiful sounds can inspire children to be moved by beauty, thereby making the seeds of goodness sprout in their extremely sensitive hearts,” Ms. Nguyen Hai Yen shared about the special audience.

Established in 2019, Green Wind is the first and largest community choir in Vietnam. To date, Green Wind has gathered nearly 200 choir members from 6 to 87 years old, regardless of background, occupation, religion, gender... sharing a passion for music, especially choral singing.

The choir's goal is to bring choral art closer to everyone, using music to connect people together, together bringing good values to the community, the living environment and the choir members themselves.
