A safe and reliable healthcare support system.
After his workout, Mr. Nguyen Khac Phuong (40 years old) carefully placed his hand on the SpO2 and blood pressure measuring device at the Citizen Monitoring Station located in the Diamond Island residential area (Binh Trung ward). Just a few minutes later, all the health results appeared on the screen.

"Previously, I had to go to the hospital to measure my health indicators, but now I can do it right in the lobby of my apartment building, which is very convenient. Besides knowing my blood pressure and blood oxygen levels, I also know my height, weight, body fat percentage, and whether my body is dehydrated or overhydrated, so I can improve my lifestyle," Mr. Phuong shared.
After undergoing health checks, Ms. Nguyen Lan Anh (28 years old) happily stated that with just a few simple taps on the touchscreen, her current health status was clearly displayed, from weight, height, and body mass index (BMI) to blood pressure, heart rate, and SpO2 readings. The touchscreen is easy to operate and suitable for all users, including the elderly. The process is designed to be simple and convenient, shortening the time, minimizing travel, and improving access to the service.
Ms. Nguyen Do Quyen, Deputy General Directorof FPT Retail, stated that the company's digital health stations are located within the Digital Citizen Station ecosystem, integrating a chain of smart and self-contained features to meet all of people's healthcare needs with just one touch. From health screening, purchasing medicine, scheduling vaccinations to direct consultations with pharmacists, doctors, and experts, everything is optimized, making it easy for people to access and use services without having to travel to multiple separate locations. Located in residential areas, the digital health stations leverage the strength of being "close to the people," becoming a safe and reliable healthcare support point.
Multi-utility integrated model
The Digital Citizen Station is an initiative implemented by the Ho Chi Minh City Police Department, contributing to the effective implementation of the Government's Project 06 and the Politburo 's Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW on digital transformation, connecting the government and the people, using chip-embedded citizen identification cards and VNeID to simplify procedures and serve the national digital transformation. This is a breakthrough in applying digital technology and artificial intelligence to serve the people, contributing to building a modern, transparent, and people-friendly e-government.
Ms. Le Thi Phuong (38 years old) said that she heard about the newly opened Digital Citizen Service Center in the Cityland Park Hills urban area (Go Vap ward) on her way to the market, so she stopped by to have her blood pressure and heart rate checked. Besides digital healthcare features, the center also offers many core functions such as public administration, security, community utilities, checking and paying traffic fines, and finance and banking services. Thanks to modern technology, these services can be processed quickly and safely right at the center.
The Ho Chi Minh City Police Department has completed the procedures to report to the Ministry of Public Security for approval of the Digital Citizen Station model as an innovative project, an initiative for administrative reform, application of science and technology, and digital transformation within the Ho Chi Minh City Police Department; and is coordinating with other units to continue updating and upgrading the useful features of the Digital Citizen Station.
“We can easily carry out administrative procedures on the Public Service Portal such as: submitting applications online, making online payments; checking information and progress of administrative procedures; reporting information on security and order; paying service bills; registering for health insurance online; financial, banking, and telecommunications services... Especially, any incidents at the station are immediately reported via the SOS button, directly connecting to local security forces, ensuring the safety of the people,” Ms. Phuong shared.
Colonel Ngo Xuan Tho, Head of the Police Department for Administrative Management of Social Order (PC06) of the Ho Chi Minh City Police, informed that the Digital Citizen Service Station is currently being deployed in several major urban areas in Ho Chi Minh City such as Celadon City, Vinhomes Ba Son, Diamond Island, and Cityland Park Hills. In the future, the units will continue to expand the scale, with plans to deploy more stations throughout the city. “The launch and expansion of the Digital Citizen Service Station with its many conveniences and functions is the result of the shift from administrative management to administrative service. This is one of the criteria for building a grassroots police force that is close to the people, respects the people, understands the people, and serves the people,” Colonel Ngo Xuan Tho emphasized.
