The program was organized by the Central Military Commission, the Ministry of National Defense , in coordination with the Hanoi Party Committee, Hue City Party Committee and Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day September 2.

At the press conference on August 1, information from the Military Radio and Television Center said that Under the Glorious Flag is a political art epic - where art combines with modern performance technology, deeply depicting patriotism, the desire for peace and the Vietnamese spirit through the periods of building and defending the country.

Colonel Nguyen Van Hoan - Deputy Director of the Military Radio and Television Center said: "Under the Glorious Flag is not only a television program but also a declaration of emotions and images. The three connecting points symbolize the three regions of North - Central - South, connecting like the beats of a national heart, from the sound of peace to the call to battle, from the mother's lullaby to the oath on the battlefield, all converge on the immortal belief under the national flag".

The program is expected to rekindle the revolutionary spirit, honor the cultural beauty, patriotism and the noble sacrifice of generations of fathers and brothers - Uncle Ho's soldiers throughout history. At the same time, this is also a message of faith and aspiration to contribute to today's young generation.

"We want to emphasize the steadfastness, bravery, and spirit of readiness to fight and sacrifice of the Vietnam People's Army for national independence and people's happiness," Colonel Nguyen Van Hoan shared.

A fusion of art and technology, Under the Glorious Flag will combine modern performance forms such as LED visual, hologram projection, AR, elaborate sound and light effects, etc. to create a multi-layered art space, helping the audience not only watch but also live in history and national pride.

Music is an important highlight with a combination of symphony, pop music, rock, rap and contemporary dance. The immortal epics are renewed and elaborately staged by artists inside and outside the army such as: People's Artist Ta Minh Tam, Meritorious Artist Vu Thang Loi, singers Khanh Linh, Duong Hoang Yen, singer Kieu Anh, rapper Suboi, singer Thanh Duy, and beauty queen Tieu Vy...
