Railways increase passenger trains during April 30 holiday

The railway runs more passenger trains to serve people traveling during the April 30 - May 1 holidays on all routes.

According to the Railway Transport Joint Stock Company, additional trains are organized on routes to the Central provinces and Hai Phong .

Specifically, on the Hanoi - Ho Chi Minh City route, in addition to the 5 pairs of Thong Nhat passenger trains running daily, there will be 2 more SE9 trains running on April 29 and 30 from Hanoi station to Saigon station.

In addition, there will be 4 more trains from Saigon to Da Nang ; 8 trains from Saigon to Quy Nhon, 6 trains from Saigon to Nha Trang station, 2 trains from Saigon to Phan Thiet, 2 trains from Hanoi to Da Nang and 4 trains from Hanoi to Dong Hoi.

On the Hanoi - Hai Phong route, in addition to the 4 pairs of trains running daily, there will be additional trains LP10 and HP4 departing from Hai Phong station, and train HD2 departing from Hai Duong station on May 2-4.

Railway Transport Joint Stock Company said that on this occasion, the railway still applies discount policies for social policy beneficiaries, the elderly, children, students, union members, and round-trip tickets.

On this occasion, the railway reduces 40% of train ticket prices for passengers who are: War invalids, people who enjoy policies like war invalids, sick soldiers, veterans, relatives of people with meritorious services to the revolution. Applicable time: Passengers buying train tickets from April 24 to May 9; these train tickets are sold directly at the stations.
