Of which, revenue from electricity sales reached more than VND 572,936 billion, accounting for more than 98% of total revenue. Cost of goods sold was VND 530,948 billion, helping EVN achieve a gross profit of VND 49,588 billion, nearly 4 times higher than the result in 2023.

In 2024, EVN will boost investment, with total investment capital reaching VND 102,702 billion, nearly 4 times higher than the previous year.

Notably, the National Assembly passed a resolution in November 2024, allowing the Ninh Thuan Nuclear Power Plant Project to continue. However, by the end of 2024, EVN still recorded an accumulated loss of more than VND 38,688 billion due to having to compensate for heavy losses in the previous two consecutive years: a loss of VND 26,772 billion in 2023 and a loss of VND 20,747 billion in 2022.

As of December 31, 2024, EVN's total liabilities are VND 474,630 billion, accounting for about 70% of total capital. Of which, long-term debt is VND 278,914 billion, mainly loans and long-term financial leases for investment in power source and grid construction.
