Hanoi Autumn Festival celebrates the 70th anniversary of the Capital Liberation Day

According to the Hanoi Center for Investment, Trade and Tourism Promotion, on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of the Liberation of the Capital (October 10, 1954 - October 10, 2024), in mid-September, the unit will continue to advise the city to organize the 2nd Hanoi Autumn Festival in 2024.

The 2024 Hanoi Autumn Festival with the theme "Hanoi Autumn - Historic Autumn" is organized to promote the beauty, cultural, historical and tourism values, exploit the uniqueness, attractiveness, honor the scenic spots, relics and heritage sites of the capital Hanoi - an attractive, quality and safe tourist destination.

Accordingly, in addition to the opening ceremony and the art program "Autumn in Hanoi" taking place from 7:30 p.m. to 10 p.m. on September 13 at the stage of the Ba Kieu Temple flower garden, there will be about 150 booths participating in the Festival divided into areas according to design and staging along Dinh Tien Hoang, Le Thach streets and the Octagonal House area.

The highlights of this year's Festival are the spaces and models introducing and promoting Hanoi's historical relics; the space recreating the image of the bustling capital filled with flags and flowers welcoming the victorious army back; the space "Hanoi 12 seasons of flowers"; the area introducing typical tourism products and destinations; the space promoting craft village products; the cuisine "Fragrance of Hanoi"; the area of ​​booths promoting and advertising tourism of provinces and cities; the area of ​​booths of international tourism agencies to introduce cultural and tourist destinations of countries, promoting bilateral tourism activities; the space for experiencing culture, art, entertainment and recreation "Hanoi - Youthful rhythm".

Within the framework of the program, there are also activities: Parade, performance by the City Youth Union and 30 districts, towns (lion and dragon dance, Mid-Autumn lantern procession, kite and flower performance, dry puppetry...); introduction of culinary culture of Hanoi people; folk dance, sports dance; Ao Dai fashion show; children's parade, painting and children's painting exhibition; introduction of products, cultural and tourist destinations on stage and at booths, focusing on some districts with potential for tourism development...

The City People's Committee assigned the Center for Investment, Trade and Tourism Promotion to preside over and coordinate with relevant units to advise and implement the Plan to organize the 2nd Hanoi Autumn Festival in 2024 in accordance with regulations, ensuring progress, savings, efficiency, and no overlap in content and activities; to manage, use and settle implementation costs in accordance with the provisions of the State Budget Law and related documents;

At the same time, preside over and coordinate with units, organizations, businesses, cultural and tourist destinations to develop programs, activities, promotions, introductions and tourism stimulus products to boost tourism stimulus in Hanoi and domestic tourism.
