In September 2024, K-pop fans will be welcomed back by FIFTY FIFTY but with a new look. The group will be active with 5 members, after nearly a year of being embroiled in a legal dispute between the management company Attrakt and the former members.
Last year, four of the group's original members, Sio, Saena, Aran, and Keena, filed a lawsuit against Attrakt, demanding that their contracts be terminated, citing a lack of financial transparency and a disregard for their health. The court dismissed the request, prompting Keena to withdraw and return to Attrakt. The remaining three members continued to pursue the lawsuit, resulting in their contracts being terminated and them facing a 13 billion won ($9.9 million) settlement.

Recently, Attrakt has found 4 new faces through closed auditions to join Keena in creating a completely new FIFTY FIFTY. The company also announced that the group's comeback will be postponed from June to September to ensure the best quality of music and performance.
Attrakt did not forget to mention the recent "sad time", when FIFTY FIFTY was at the peak with the hit "Cupid" but suddenly got into legal trouble. This song brought the group many impressive achievements, such as entering the top 20 of the Billboard Hot 100 and the top 10 of the UK's Official Singles Chart, and winning the K-pop Song of the Year award at the 2023 iHeartRadio Music Awards.
Despite having to "pause" midway, Attrakt affirmed that they are always grateful for the support of fans and will do their best to make FIFTY FIFTY become the top girl group in K-pop. Before officially releasing the new album, the group will debut a new song and carry out various promotional activities.
FIFTY FIFTY, who debuted in 2022 with the song "Cupid", quickly became a global phenomenon thanks to its viral popularity on TikTok. Despite being a "rookie" under a small company, the group made a miracle by entering the prestigious Billboard chart after only 130 days of debut. However, the lawsuit has caused all activities of the group to stagnate.
Last August, Attrakt received investment from David Yong, CEO of Singapore-based Evergreen Group Holdings, and began looking for new members for FIFTY FIFTY. Auditions were held in many countries such as: Korea, Japan, Singapore and Thailand.
