FPT Play officially owns the copyright of FIFA Club World Cup 2025

FPT Play has officially owned the broadcasting and media rights for the FIFA Club World Cup 2025, which will take place next June.

The FIFA Club World Cup is the pinnacle tournament in the FIFA club tournament system. 2025 is the first time the tournament will be held in a completely new format with a cycle of 4 years/time with 32 participating teams from 6 regional confederations.

Following a series of prestigious domestic and international sports tournaments that have been broadcast over the years, FPT Play will continue to bring the FIFA Club World Cup 2025 to Vietnamese audiences.

After an active negotiation process, FPT Play became the only domestic unit to own the broadcasting and communication rights of this tournament on infrastructures including terrestrial, cable, satellite, IPTV, Internet, mobile, public screening and exploitation on social networks... in the period from June 14 to July 13 (US time), i.e. from June 15 to July 14 (Vietnam time).

According to Ms. To Nam Phuong - Deputy General Director of FPT Play, FPT Corporation, "Becoming the only domestic unit to own the copyright of the FIFA Club World Cup 2025 in Vietnam is the result of FPT Play's continuous efforts and determination to bring domestic audiences unprecedented international sports experiences.

The 2025 FIFA Club World Cup will be held in the United States - one of three host countries of the 2026 FIFA World Cup. The tournament will have a total of 63 matches. The opening match is scheduled to take place on June 14 at Hard Rock Stadium, Miami; the final is scheduled to take place on July 13 at MetLife Stadium, New York (US time). The total prize value of the tournament is up to 1 billion USD.
