FPT Play continues to bring the FIFA Club World Cup 2025 to Vietnamese audiences. Exclusive broadcasting rights on all platforms (terrestrial, cable, satellite, IPTV, Internet, mobile, public and social networks) from June 15 to July 14.

The FIFA Club World Cup is the pinnacle of FIFA's club competitions. In its 25-year history, this is the first time the FIFA Club World Cup has been held in a completely new format.

The tournament will take place one year before the FIFA World Cup, with the cycle changing from annual to four-yearly. At the same time, the number of participating clubs will also increase from 7 to 32, bringing together the most successful clubs from 6 regional football confederations: AFC (Asia), CAF (Africa), CONCACAF (North, Central America and the Caribbean), CONMEBOL (South America), OFC (Oceania) and UEFA (Europe).

Sharing about the copyright cooperation with FIFA, Ms. To Nam Phuong - Deputy General Director of FPT Play, FPT Corporation - said: "Becoming the only domestic unit to own the copyright of the FIFA Club World Cup 2025 in Vietnam is the result of FPT Play's continuous efforts and determination to bring domestic audiences unprecedented international sports experiences. We believe that the tournament will be a "delicious and strange dish" for fans before the tournaments that have become familiar".

The 2025 FIFA Club World Cup will be hosted in the United States - one of three host countries of the 2026 FIFA World Cup. The tournament will have a total of 63 matches, scheduled to open on June 14 at Hard Rock Stadium - Miami. The final will take place on July 13 at MetLife Stadium - New York.

Except for the host club, the remaining 31 clubs are all continental champions in the last four years or have high rankings in the continental rankings at the same stage. The teams are divided into 8 groups in a round-robin format. The top two teams in each group will advance to the knockout stages. The total prize money of the tournament is up to 1 billion USD.

As of 2023, the FIFA Club World Cup has had 11 different winners. Real Madrid is the most successful team with 5 wins. The other winners are: Barcelona, ​​Bayern Munich, AC Milan, Inter Milan, Manchester City, Liverpool, Chelsea, Corinthians, São Paulo and Internacional.
