Accordingly, through the camera trap system, many breeds of pheasants and jungle fowl were recorded while living in a strictly protected forest environment.
Specifically, Mr. Dao Xuan Thuy said that Chu Mom Ray National Park currently has 3 chicken breeds classified in group IB - extremely rare and 1 pheasant breed classified in group IIB - rare.
The chicken breeds classified as group IB living here are the Striped Pheasant, Red-crowned Chicken, and Hump-breasted Partridge; the Rose-red Pheasant is classified as group IIB.
In addition, jungle fowl - a common forest animal - also appears a lot in this area.
According to Mr. Thuy, the garden pays close attention to and strictly protects rare chicken breeds of groups IB and IIB.
