The Galaxy A16 support page has recently appeared on Samsung India's official website with the model number SM-A166P/DS. The smartphone has also received Thailand's NBTC certification, revealing some key specifications.

It is known that this version was recently spotted on the benchmarking website with the Dimensity 6300 chipset. Later, another variant with model number SM-A166E was spotted with the Exynos 1330 chip. Thus, the Indian and Thai market version of this smartphone will have a MediaTek chip.

Previous leaks revealed that the Galaxy A16 has a 6.7-inch LCD screen, Full HD+ resolution, 90Hz refresh rate and 800 nits maximum brightness. The device has 128GB/256GB Rom, IP54 water and dust resistance, 5000 mAh battery with 25W fast charging support.

Samsung's upcoming low-cost mobile model will have a 3-camera system on the back including: a 50MP main sensor, a 5MP camera for super wide-angle shots and a 2MP macro camera for close-up shots. On the front, the Galaxy A16 has a 13MP sensor for users to take selfies and video calls.
