Nearly 100 officers and soldiers participated in extinguishing a large fire at night in Lao Cai

At around 8:30 p.m. on July 29, a large fire broke out at LTT Trading and Production Joint Stock Company, located in the Au Lau Industrial Park, Au Lau Ward, Lao Cai Province. The fire quickly engulfed the factory, accompanied by loud explosions and a column of black smoke rising tens of meters high, affecting neighboring areas.

Immediately after receiving the information, the Lao Cai Provincial Police Department of Fire Prevention, Fighting and Rescue dispatched 6 fire trucks and nearly 100 officers to the scene. However, the work of approaching and controlling the fire encountered many difficulties because the location of the fire was deep inside the factory with many flammable materials such as packaging, chemicals and plywood.

At around 1:00 a.m. on July 30, the fire was basically under control and completely extinguished at 3:30 a.m.

Authorities deployed plans to approach and control the fire.

Currently, the cause of the fire and the extent of damage are being investigated by the authorities. According to initial records, there were no human casualties in this fire.
