
Accordingly, Tra Khuc 1 Bridge is built in Nghia Lo and Truong Quang Trong wards, under Group B project, with a total investment of VND 2,199 billion from the provincial budget, of which the construction cost is more than VND 1,836 billion; project implementation progress from 2025-2027.
Tra Khuc 1 Bridge is invested by the Project Management Board for Investment and Construction of Traffic Works of Quang Ngai Province.
This is a special project, designed with steel, reinforced concrete, prestressed reinforced concrete.
The bridge is more than 577m long, of which the main bridge (suspension bridge) is about 522m long, 28m wide, with a design load of HL 93.
The road at the bridgehead is designed to ensure the main street, speed 60km/h. The road at the northern bridgehead is 28m wide, connecting to the roundabout intersecting the extended Tran Van Tra - Hoang Sa - Nguyen Van Linh - Te Hanh streets; the road at the southern bridgehead is 28 - 44m wide, connecting to the roundabout of Quang Trung - Ba Trieu - Hai Ba Trung streets (Nghia Lo ward).
At the intersection with Ton Duc Thang Street, an underpass will be arranged, traffic will be controlled by painted lines and signs according to regulations.
Ton Duc Thang Street underpass has a width of 11.5m (including 0.5m tunnel wall on each side); clearance of 3.5m; tunnel structure is made of reinforced concrete.
The investment in the Tra Khuc 1 bridge project aims to gradually complete the synchronous traffic network in the province according to the approved planning, improve transport capacity, and connect the northern gateway traffic to the urban center of Quang Ngai province in both directions of the Tra Khuc river.
