Nearly 20,000 union, association and youth officials were trained to support the operation of the two-level local government model.

On the afternoon of July 10, the Central Youth Union coordinated with the Department of Administrative Police for Social Order (C06), Ministry of Public Security to organize training for a youth volunteer team to support the operation of the 2-level local government model and provide online public services at the grassroots level.

The training conference was organized in both direct and online formats, connecting to more than 3,600 points nationwide, with nearly 20,000 union officials at all levels, and youth volunteers participating.

The main training contents include: instructions on using VNeID and supporting people to access online public services, deployed through the "Digital Popular Education" platform; instructions on the process of supporting people at public administrative centers at the commune and ward levels; basic AI applications to support commune-level officials and civil servants.

Secretary of the Central Youth Union Nguyen Pham Duy Trang said that this is a special volunteer program, aiming to concretize and demonstrate the great responsibility and honor when being entrusted by the Politburo and the Secretariat with the task of accompanying the grassroots government in implementing administrative reform, digital transformation, and serving the people.

After the conference, the responsible officers and team leaders are responsible for retraining the local forces. The Youth Union and Association at all levels will continue to assign and arrange forces appropriate to the locality, prioritizing young people with good technological capacity and communication skills; establish a periodic monitoring and evaluation mechanism; synthesize and replicate models and creative methods to improve the quality of the entire campaign.
