Each team participates in two parts: introducing the team with a 15-20 minute skit, reflecting the reality of domestic violence, gender equality, child care associated with grassroots propaganda work and handling situations within a maximum of 5 minutes. The theatrical form helps teams vividly convey everyday stories, recreate conflicts in the family and aim for legal and humane solutions.

Mr. Duong Hoang Giang, Director of Ca Mau Provincial Cultural Center and Mr. Trinh Viet Khai, Vice Chairman of Tran Van Thoi Commune People's Committee presented souvenir flags to the competing teams.

The skit “Invisible Wall” by Kinh Cu Hamlet Team, Binh Minh 2 received a lot of sympathy. Propagandist Chau Van Toan said that the skit emphasized the forms of mental violence, silence, indifference, economic control, which are hidden but cause deep hurt, easily leading to broken marriages.

“A family is only truly happy when each member knows how to listen, understand and share,” Toan shared.

The skit "Belief for you" was performed by Teams 7 and 8.

Teams of Hamlet 7 and Hamlet 8 brought the skit “Trust for You”, reflecting the consequences of male chauvinism, child marriage and the situation of forcing women and girls to endure violence when men fall into vices. Propagandist Giang Thi Diem Thy shared her hope that through the contest, each family would be more aware of their responsibility to protect women and children, and proactively prevent violence even from the smallest acts.

In recent years, Ca Mau has always focused on preventing domestic violence through communication models and community activities, in which the contest is an outstanding activity that helps bring policies and laws closer to the people. This year's contest aims to respond to the " International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women and Girls" (November 25) and "Action Month for Gender Equality", while contributing to raising awareness of the Law on Prevention of Domestic Violence, Law on Gender Equality, Law on Marriage and Family, Law on Children, etc.

Teams of Hamlet 7 and Hamlet 8 excellently won First Prize with the skit "Belief for you".

Mr. Duong Hoang Giang, Director of the Cultural Center of Ca Mau province, assessed that the contest is an opportunity for teams to exchange, learn and gain experience in handling practical situations.

“Each skit and each competition is a sincere reminder of the meaning of family, spreading the message of living with love, respect, and working together to build a prosperous, equal, and progressive family,” emphasized Mr. Duong Hoang Giang.

The Organizing Committee awarded prizes to the teams that won B prize.

After a day of exciting competition, the Organizing Committee awarded the first prize to teams of Hamlet 7 and 8; two second prizes to Hamlet 4 and Hamlet Kinh Cu, Binh Minh 2; three third prizes and seven consolation prizes. Many secondary prizes were awarded such as excellent propagandist, impressive actor, best skit… to recognize the creative efforts of the competing teams.

The contest ended in a warm atmosphere, leaving many humane messages, contributing to spreading the spirit of preventing domestic violence, raising the responsibility of each individual in building a cultural family, a civilized and happy society.
