Cam Lam Commune Women's Union mobilizes support for people affected by floods

From November 20 to 27, the Women's Union of Cam Lam commune promoted activities to call on and mobilize members and women in the commune to join hands to support people in communes and wards in the province affected by floods.

Cam Lam Commune Women's Union presents gifts to Dien Dien Kindergarten.

Accordingly, the Commune Women's Union and 45 branches in the area mobilized more than 72.4 million VND in cash and about 8 tons of necessities to give to people affected by floods. In addition, 168 members and women of the commune participated in supporting cooking; dividing goods at gathering points to send to people.

The Association also donated 75 gifts, 50kg of rice, 30 boxes of noodles, 150 mats, 50 boxes of water, 200 new clothes, 200kg of old clothes, diapers, hats... to 3 Kindergartens: Dien Phu, Dien Dien, Dien Son and households in Dien Dien commune.

In addition, the association has coordinated with the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the commune and mass organizations to directly distribute more than 3,000 meals to medical staff, doctors and patients at hospitals such as: Provincial Tropical Diseases Hospital, Yersin Nha Trang General Hospital, Provincial Oncology Hospital... At the same time, participated in transporting more than 25 tons of relief goods to promptly send to people in the communes: Dien Dien, Dien Khanh, Dien Lac, Tay Khanh Son...

Support activities are still being carried out by the association to help people overcome damage caused by natural disasters.
