Thus, the average number of permanent lecturers per school in the non-public sector is more than that of public universities. Of course, each university has a different number of lecturers and lecturer qualifications regardless of the type.

Among the more than 80,000 full-time lecturers, the number of people with master's degrees accounts for an overwhelming proportion, followed by the number of people with doctoral degrees. As of the 2023-2024 school year, there are 28,862 doctors working as lecturers at universities.

Also in this academic year, there are 11,359 graduate students being trained at schools. Of which, public universities train 11,028 graduate students, non-public universities train 331 graduate students.

In terms of the number of new graduate students, universities will recruit 2,850 new people in the 2023-2024 academic year. Of these, private schools will recruit 144 researchers, more than double the number recruited in the 2022-2023 academic year.

Although the average number of permanent lecturers in each non-public school is greater than in public schools, there is a significant difference in the ratio of academic titles and degrees in each school.

Statistics show that lecturers with master's degrees are the core of the staff of non-public universities. In contrast, public universities have a larger number of lecturers with doctoral degrees.

In non-public schools, the number of permanent lecturers with higher professorial qualifications is higher than in public schools, but not significantly.

Meanwhile, public schools have a much higher number of associate professor lecturers than private schools.

Non-public schools overwhelm public schools in the number of lecturers with university degrees and other qualifications.
