Ambassador Pham Quang Hieu affirmed that our Party and State always pay special attention and have issued many policies and guidelines for overseas Vietnamese, an inseparable part of the Vietnamese ethnic community; an important resource contributing to the cause of industrialization, modernization of the country and international integration.
Even though they are far away from their country, the success of the Vietnamese community is also the success of Vietnam, contributing to raising the position of Vietnam in the international arena. Ambassador Pham Quang Hieu hopes that the Association of Vietnamese Intellectuals in Japan and the intellectual community will increasingly conduct more research, propose and contribute more practical and effective ideas, serving as a bridge to help Vietnam apply advanced Japanese science and technology to solve problems and requirements in the country's socio -economic development.
This is the first meeting event held on a large scale, an opportunity for intellectuals from all over Japan to exchange and connect with scientific research networks, update and share information on outstanding activities of the intellectual network in recent times, and discuss future cooperation activities towards forming a dynamic, united Vietnamese intellectual community in Japan that increasingly contributes effectively to scientific and technological activities, national development, and cooperative relations with Japan.
