The Faces of Vietnam project officially announced the broadcast of the first season of the inspirational exchange program with the theme Continue writing simple things. The project is carried out by a team of young editors from Ho Chi Minh City Television (HTV).

Faces of Vietnam is a project with many activities to spread inspirational stories and introduce impressive faces. The main activity is a television program recorded at the end of the year and broadcast at the beginning of the new year.
With the message of promoting patriotism and national pride through simple stories from specific actions in daily life, the production team portrayed the first season with politicians , armed forces, businessmen, artists, intellectuals, the youth community... Under the guidance of editor Lan Nhi, editor Trung Hau, MC Pham Thanh - MCs from the project "Face of Television" of HTV, the recording night of Face of Vietnam took place impressively at the Ho Chi Minh City Museum.
11 Vietnamese faces in the first season
The program opened with the sharing of 104-year-old researcher Nguyen Dinh Tu about the patriotism of the Vietnamese people in the thousand-year history of building and defending the country.
Pride is clearly depicted through the 10-day "real combat" journey at the scene of the earthquake, considered an unprecedented disaster, of Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Chi Thanh - a member of the Vietnam International Rescue Team and his teammates in Türkiye.

The simple source of Vietnam Faces is also continued by the 25-year journey of comrade Truong My Hoa, former VicePresident , and members of the Vu A Dinh Scholarship Fund and the Club "For beloved Hoang Sa and Truong Sa".

Portraying characters in many fields, the program also brings stories about the country's economy , education, culture and entertainment over the past year.
Businessman Le Tri Thong, Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City Young Entrepreneurs Association, brought a prominent slice of the “green economy” in the economic flow of the whole country. Along with that, in the field of education, Associate Professor Dr. Vo Thi Ngoc Thuy, Principal of Hoa Sen University, with the concept of “liberal education” brought confidence in a generation of Vietnamese students who are not afraid to take risks and take on challenges to integrate and develop.
With the country's art, in the past year, there have been many individuals and groups who have quietly contributed and created products that contribute to promoting the beauty of the country's culture. That is director Hoang Nhat Nam, co-director and production partner of the Miss Grand International 2023 contest in Vietnam. The program contributes to promoting tourism, national costumes, bringing Vietnamese beauty to the world and bringing the world's beauty to gather and shine in Vietnam.

That is singer Phuong My Chi with the album Vu tru co bay exploiting Vietnamese literary materials combined with modern music of DTAP, creating a special artistic highlight for music last year.

Bringing the flame of youthful enthusiasm to the program, members of the Green Saigon and Happy Drawing groups conveyed meaningful messages through concrete actions, bringing hope for a prosperous Vietnam with people who are constantly contributing.

The final piece of the first season of “The Face of Vietnam” is backpacker Tran Dang Dang Khoa - the first Vietnamese person to travel around the world with the message “Travel to understand the world and love Vietnam more”.

Along with the stories being told, music is a special catalyst that contributes to connecting and spreading the stories of 11 Vietnamese faces. Opening with the song One Round of Vietnam performed by singer Nguyen Phi Hung and a special performance by two circus artists Hien Phuoc and Thanh Hoa.
Next is the song Tam , sung by singer Mer and guitarist Truong Hoan. The second verse of the song was written by Mer, inspired by the journey of "silent dedication in hardship" of the characters in the project . In addition, the bright melodies of the song Thinh Vuong Viet Nam sang sang or the meaningful lyrics of Xin cu tat di contributed to conveying the program's message. The first season's journey ended with the proud melody Hello Viet Nam performed by runner-up - singer Lona.
