On the global market, the price of silver listed on Goldprice.org is $33.40 per ounce.
According to Kitco, although silver is struggling to keep up with gold's strong growth, some analysts still believe in the potential of this precious metal.
Ole Hansen, head of commodity strategy at Saxo Bank, said he still sees potential for silver prices to reach $40 per ounce this year.
Although recession fears are impacting industrial demand for silver, which accounts for about half of global consumption, Hansen believes that the current transition to green energy can continue steadily even in an economic downturn.
“ The use of silver in the energy conversion industry is unlikely to experience major disruptions even in an economic downturn. Silver is projected to remain in short supply through 2025, marking the fifth consecutive year of shortages. Meanwhile, the growth of gold is also drawing investor attention to silver ,” he said.
