Silver price today August 4: Stable after strong increase

Silver price today (August 4, 2025), domestic and world silver prices stabilized after the previous strong increase.

On the world market, the world silver price is listed at 36.76 USD/ounce; unchanged from the morning of August 3.

Despite a choppy start to the week, silver regained momentum towards the end of the week, closing the trading week on a more positive note.

This comes after the release of the US non-farm payrolls report, which showed the economy created just 73,000 new jobs in the month, a figure well below expectations of 106,000.

Silver price today 48 Stable after strong increase

This disappointing data has put pressure on the USD and become a catalyst for a short-term recovery in silver prices, according to senior market analyst Christopher Lewis.

Today's silver price at Phu Quy Gold and Gemstone Group, silver price remains unchanged, listed at 1,419,000 VND/tael (buy) and 1,463,000 VND/tael (sell) in Hanoi .

In addition, according to a survey at other trading locations in Hanoi, domestic silver prices are stable in both buying and selling directions, currently listed at VND 1,161,000/tael (buy) and VND 1,195,000/tael (sell).

In Ho Chi Minh City, silver prices are following the same trend, currently at VND1,163,000/tael (buy) and VND1,200,000/tael (sell). World silver prices are unchanged in both buying and selling directions, currently at VND971,000/ounce (buy) and VND976,000/ounce (sell).
