On the afternoon of November 19, the delegation of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Council (Unit No. 3) met with voters of Xuan Hoa, Nhieu Loc and Ban Co wards before the 6th session of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Council.
The delegation includes comrade Pham Thanh Kien, member of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, Head of the Organizing Committee of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee; comrade Pham Dang Khoa, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Nhieu Loc Ward.

At the meeting, voters reflected on many urgent social issues such as suspended planning; urban environment and aesthetics; electricity system safety; escalating prices, security, order and traffic safety in deep alleys and densely populated areas...
Regarding the issue of suspended planning, voter Vu Bang, in alley 60 Ly Chinh Thang street, Xuan Hoa ward, said that this alley has been in the planning for expansion for 26 years but has not been implemented yet. Voters asked the city to soon implement the project to stabilize people's lives.

Voter Nguyen Thi Kim Hoan (resident of Nhieu Loc ward) acknowledged that the urban beautification work in recent times has brought about many positive changes, making the streets more spacious.
However, the tangled mess of electric wires and cables makes the city unsightly and unsafe.
Therefore, voters suggested that the city direct the relevant agencies to handle the “spider web” of cables, moving towards undergrounding the system. In addition, check and handle trees growing spontaneously near the Nhieu Loc canal embankment because they pose a risk of causing subsidence.

Voter Cao Thi Thuy Huong (residing in Ban Co ward) is concerned about the high market prices, many essential goods fluctuate strongly, such as water spinach from 15,000-20,000 VND/kg now up to 40,000 VND/kg. Voters suggest that the city has solutions to stabilize the market.
In addition, the situation of people letting their dogs and cats defecate in public places needs to be strictly handled, especially when most roads have surveillance camera systems.
On behalf of the delegation, comrade Pham Thanh Kien thanked the voters for their opinions, affirming that these are practical issues, directly related to people's lives. The delegation will synthesize, report to the HCMC People's Council and forward to the relevant agencies and departments for consideration and resolution.

Comrade Pham Thanh Kien said that people can monitor the progress of each petition through elected representatives at the ward or on the application for voters.
The contents under the local authority will be responded to fully and promptly by the ward to the people.
