Oil price exceeds 23,000 VND per liter

The price of each liter of gasoline remains the same, while diesel and kerosene (except mazut) increased by 370-410 VND, from 3:00 p.m. this afternoon (September 11).

According to the joint adjustment of the Ministry of Industry and Trade - Ministry of Finance, the price of RON 95-III gasoline (the popular type on the market) and E5 RON 92 remained the same as in early September. Similarly, kerosene and fuel oil prices also remained stable. Diesel oil alone increased to VND23,050 per liter. Thus, the domestic retail gasoline price has broken the 7th consecutive increase in two months.

In today's management period, the Ministry of Industry and Trade - Ministry of Finance continued not to allocate and spend from the Petroleum Price Stabilization Fund. According to the Ministry of Finance , as of July, this fund had a surplus of 7,438 billion VND. Therefore, the management agency has stopped allocating to this fund since the management period in early July until now.

World prices have increased sharply in the past half month due to concerns about tighter supplies as Russia intends to extend cuts in oil export production.
