Specifically, the price of dried onions ranges from 38,000-42,000 VND/kg (18,000 VND/kg at the beginning of the season), dried garlic is 62,000 VND/kg (31,000 VND/kg at the beginning of the season). According to people, if selling onions and dried garlic at this time, each sao will bring in a profit of 15 million VND, 5 million VND higher than at the beginning of the season.

Some owners of onion and garlic harvesting facilities said that the closer to the end of the season, the greater the demand for dried onions and garlic, especially seed onions and garlic. Meanwhile, the amount of dried onions and garlic available to the people is not much.

The 2023-2024 garlic crop in Kinh Mon was successful in terms of productivity, quality and economic value. One of the reasons that positively impacted the garlic market in the town was the spread of the 2024 Kinh Mon Garlic Harvest Festival, which was held for the first time last January.
