Pig price in the North: Slight decrease after many days of high price
In the northern provinces, the price of live pigs this morning recorded a slight decrease. Localities such as Lao Cai, Lai Chau and Dien Bien decreased by 1,000 VND/kg, down to 65,000 VND/kg. Phu Tho also adjusted to 66,000 VND/kg. The remaining provinces such as Hanoi , Bac Ninh, Hai Phong and Hung Yen continued to maintain a high price of 67,000 VND/kg.

Central Highlands: Some places have adjusted down
Pig prices in the Central Highlands region also recorded some slight decreases. In Thanh Hoa and Khanh Hoa, prices decreased by VND1,000/kg to VND65,000/kg. Many other localities such as Ha Tinh, Hue, Quang Ngai and Dak Lak remained at VND65,000/kg. Lam Dong is currently the place with the highest price in the region, reaching VND67,000/kg.

The Southern market price remained stable on the morning of July 15. Provinces such as Dong Nai, An Giang, Ca Mau and Can Tho maintained the purchase price at 67,000 VND/kg. Ho Chi Minh City and Tay Ninh were at 66,000 VND/kg, while Vinh Long was slightly lower at 65,000 VND/kg.

Retail pork price: Unchanged at distribution systems
At WinMart, pork prices today have not changed. Ground pork is still sold at 119,922 VND/kg. Some products such as lean thigh, lean shoulder and boneless ham have prices ranging from 122,000 - 127,000 VND/kg.
Meanwhile, at Ha Hien Company, pork prices remain unchanged at VND89,000 - 190,000/kg. Pork fat has the lowest price, while old ribs and lean shoulder are at an average of VND134,000 - 136,000/kg.
