Pig price today July 29: Downward trend in many localities

The price of live pigs today, July 29, recorded a downward trend in many localities in the Central and Southern regions. Currently, the price of live pigs nationwide is purchased at around 58,000 - 64,000 VND/kg.

Pig prices in the North did not record any changes compared to the previous session.

Specifically, the price in Tuyen Quang, Cao Bang, Thai Nguyen, Lang Son, Quang Ninh, Bac Ninh , Hai Phong, Ninh Binh, Lao Cai and Phu Tho continues to remain at 61,000 VND/kg.

In Hanoi and Hung Yen, live pigs are still purchased at 62,000 VND/kg.

In Lai Chau, Dien Bien and Son La provinces, the price of live pigs remains at 60,000 VND/kg.

Currently, the price of live pigs in the North is fluctuating between 60,000 - 62,000 VND/kg.

Central Highlands - Central region, today recorded a decrease of 1,000 VND/kg in some provinces.

Specifically, the price of pigs in Thanh Hoa, Ha Tinh, Quang Tri, Hue, Da Nang, Quang Ngai, Gia Lai and Khanh Hoa all decreased by 1,000 VND/kg. Of which, Quang Tri and Gia Lai are currently purchasing at 58,000 VND/kg; Ha Tinh, Hue, Da Nang, Quang Ngai are at 59,000 VND/kg; and Thanh Hoa and Khanh Hoa are both at 60,000 VND/kg.

Meanwhile, Nghe An and Dak Lak maintained the price at 60,000 VND/kg. Lam Dong alone remained at the highest level in the region at 63,000 VND/kg.

Currently, the price of live pigs in the Central Highlands is purchased at around 58,000 - 63,000 VND/kg.

In the South , live pig prices were adjusted down slightly in several provinces and cities.

Specifically, Dong Thap and Ho Chi Minh City both recorded a decrease of 1,000 VND/kg, currently the price of live pigs in these two localities is 62,000 VND/kg.

Meanwhile, the price of live pigs in Dong Nai and An Giang remained stable at VND63,000/kg. In Tay Ninh and Ca Mau, the price of live pigs remained at VND64,000/kg. Vinh Long and Can Tho were at VND62,000/kg and VND63,000/kg, respectively.

Currently, the price of live pigs in the South is commonly around 62,000 - 64,000 VND/kg.

Pork price today

This morning's survey shows that the price of Meat Deli chilled pork from the website winmart.vn remains stable at around 119,922 - 163,122 VND/kg. Currently, Meat Deli chilled pork products are being discounted by 20% under the preferential program for WinMart members.

Of which, pork belly is being sold at 163,122 VND/kg, the highest among the surveyed products. On the other hand, ground pork is being sold at 119,922 VND/kg, the lowest among pork products at WinMart.

Pork prices remain stable at Ha Hien Food System. Pork products here are being sold at prices ranging from 89,000 - 190,000 VND/kg.

Specifically, the two products with the highest selling prices are pork ribs and pig tail, at VND190,000/kg and VND176,000/kg, respectively. Pork fat still holds the lowest price at VND89,000/kg.
