Ia Hiao Commune Party Secretary Pham Van Phuong said that through reviewing and understanding the people's wishes, the commune determined that 180 households wanted to be relocated. This is necessary to help people stabilize their lives, settle down long-term, develop their economy with peace of mind and escape from prolonged flooding. The commune has prepared a high, convenient site, close to utilities and national highways, and only needs funding to implement the project of population dispersion and resettlement for the above flooded households.
