Gia Lai displays books to celebrate 80 years of the October Revolution...

To celebrate the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day September 2, Gia Lai Provincial Library organized a book exhibition with the theme "Historical Milestones".

More than 500 books (more than 300 printed copies and more than 200 electronic copies) covering the following topics: Communist Party of Vietnam ; President Ho Chi Minh; August Revolution and the birth of the Democratic Republic of Vietnam; Two resistance wars against France and the US; 80-year journey of building and defending the Fatherland... have been introduced to the public.

In addition, the library also introduces many valuable publications about Gia Lai province, reflecting the history, culture, innovation and contributions of the locality to the cause of national development. The exhibition space also has video projections and digital documentary images, creating a vivid and intuitive experience. The activities contribute to educating revolutionary traditions and spreading reading culture, arousing national pride in the community, especially the younger generation.

Attracting investment to develop industrial clusters

In the period of 2021-2030, with a vision to 2050, Lam Dong province is planning 67 industrial clusters with a total area of over 2,620 hectares. Of which, 23 clusters have infrastructure investors, with a planned area of over 819 hectares; attracting 170 secondary investors, with a leased area of over 268 hectares...

Most industrial clusters face difficulties in site clearance; infrastructure is not yet synchronized, does not meet regulations, and is stuck with land for national defense and mineral planning... The leaders of Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee requested relevant departments and branches to coordinate with communes and wards to review and comprehensively evaluate the capacity and feasibility of land, investment attraction, and logistics to propose in the upcoming planning of Lam Dong province; communes and wards with industrial clusters should soon review the planning, re-evaluate the feasibility of industrial clusters to have appropriate proposals; and strengthen investment promotion.

Lam Dong to complete temporary housing demolition by end of August 2025

Lam Dong will complete the removal of temporary and dilapidated houses in the area by August 31.

Lam Dong Province Department of Agriculture and Environment said that as of August 24, the province had eliminated 5,508 temporary and dilapidated houses out of a total of 5,700; of which, 4,173 were newly built and 1,335 were repaired. It is expected that by August 31, the province will complete the program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses in the area.

Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee requested relevant departments and branches to quickly assess the causes of achievements and lessons learned; from there, synthesize and report at the national conference on implementing the program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses. Units also need to organize assessments and commend typical examples of businesses, philanthropists, and households joining hands to complete the task in the area.

Dak Lak cooperates in digital transformation in the period 2025-2030

The People's Committee of Dak Lak province and the Military Industry-Telecoms Group (Viettel) have just held a signing ceremony for a cooperation agreement on digital transformation for the 2025-2030 period.

The two sides agreed to sign a cooperation agreement in many fields, in which Viettel accompanies and supports the People's Committee of Dak Lak province in implementing the assigned tasks and goals according to Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW of the Politburo and Resolution No. 71/NQ-CP, dated April 1, 2025 of the Government on amending, supplementing and updating the Government's action program to implement Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW dated December 22, 2024 of the Politburo on breakthroughs in science and technology development, innovation and national digital transformation. The People's Committee of Dak Lak province creates favorable conditions for Viettel to implement digital transformation projects according to the specific mechanism stipulated in Resolution No. 193/2025/QH15, dated February 19, 2025 of the National Assembly on piloting a number of special mechanisms and policies to create breakthroughs in the development of science, technology, innovation and national digital transformation. Exciting voluntary blood donation festival in mountainous commune

The People's Committee of Dak Ro Wa commune, Quang Ngai province, in coordination with the Provincial Red Cross Society and the Department of Hematology - Quang Ngai Provincial Hospital 2, organized the 2025 voluntary blood donation festival. A large number of cadres, civil servants, public employees, youth union members and local people participated in registering to donate blood with enthusiasm and responsibility.

As a result, the organizing committee received 66 units of whole blood, adding to the blood bank of the Provincial General Hospital to promptly serve the emergency and treatment of patients. Each drop of donated blood is a belief and hope for life for patients, especially those in difficult circumstances.
