Transfer of National Assembly delegation activities for comrade Tran Luu Quang

Comrade Tran Luu Quang, Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee, 15th National Assembly delegate, transferred his activities from the Hai Phong City National Assembly delegation to the Ho Chi Minh City National Assembly delegation.

On behalf of the National Assembly Standing Committee (NASC), National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man signed and issued Resolution No. 1801/NQ-UBTVQH15 of the NASC on transferring the activities of the National Assembly delegation of comrade Tran Luu Quang from the Hai Phong City NASC delegation to the Ho Chi Minh City NASC delegation.

Previously, comrade Tran Luu Quang, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Policy and Strategy Commission, was appointed by the Politburo to join the Party Executive Committee, the Standing Committee of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee and hold the position of Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term.

National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man also signed and issued Resolution No. 96/2025/UBTVQH15 and Resolution No. 97/2025/UBTVQH15 of the Standing Committee of the National Assembly on adjusting the 2025 legislative program.

According to Resolution No. 96/2025/UBTVQH15, the Standing Committee of the National Assembly decided to add to the 2025 legislative program to submit to the National Assembly for comments and approval at the 10th session (expected in October 2025) according to the shortened order and procedures for 2 draft laws, including the Law on Digital Transformation and the Law on Specialized Courts at the International Financial Center.

Pursuant to Resolution No. 97/2025/UBTVQH15, the Standing Committee of the National Assembly decided to add to the 2025 legislative program to submit to the National Assembly for comments and approval at the 10th session according to the shortened order and procedures for 3 draft laws: Law amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Law on Technology Transfer; Law amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Law on Intellectual Property; Law on High Technology (amended).

The Standing Committee of the National Assembly requested the Government to direct research, review policies, and adjust the scope of amendments and supplements to the Law on Technology Transfer to comply with the provisions of the Law on Promulgation of Legal Documents on Amended and Supplemented Laws.
