Rice price today April 24: Export rice price increases

As for by-products, the price of by-products ranges from 7,450 - 9,000 VND/kg. Currently, fragrant rice bran ranges from 7,450 - 7,600 VND/kg; the price of bran ranges from 8,000 - 9,000 VND/kg.

Recorded in localities today, 50404 rice, OM380 source is scattered, price is stable, transaction is moderate, price fluctuates little. In An Giang , white raw rice price is stable, buying and selling are regular. In Lap Vo (Dong Thap), quantity is scattered, price of all types of rice is stable.

Sa Dec market canal (Dong Thap), low quantity, warehouses buy regularly but select good rice, stable price. At An Cu (Cai Be, Tien Giang ), good quantity, generally a lot of new rice, price fluctuates little.

At retail markets, the prices of all types of rice remained unchanged compared to yesterday. Currently, Nang Nhen rice has the highest listed price of VND28,000/kg; regular rice fluctuates at VND13,000 - 15,000/kg; Jasmine fragrant rice fluctuates at VND16,000 - 18,000/kg; common white rice fluctuates at VND16,000/kg; Soc rice often fluctuates at VND17,000/kg; long-grain fragrant rice fluctuates at VND20,000 - 22,000/kg; Huong Lai rice 22,000/kg; Nang Hoa rice 21,000/kg; Taiwanese fragrant rice 20,000/kg; Soc Thai rice 20,000/kg; Japanese rice 22,000/kg.

According to the Vietnam Food Association (VFA), currently 5% standard rice is at 395 USD/ton (up 1 USD/ton); 25% broken rice is at 369 USD/ton (up 2 USD/ton); 100% broken rice is at 323 USD/ton (up 6 USD/ton).
