Việt NamViệt Nam13/11/2023

(HG) - Currently, the price of yellow chili peppers in Long My district is being bought by traders at 55,000-60,000 VND/kg, down 10,000-15,000 VND/kg compared to the same period last year. Although the price of yellow chili peppers has decreased, growers still make a good profit.

According to farmers, the advantages of the yellow horn chili variety are that the plant is large, the fruit is large, easy to grow, can be grown twice a year, is popular in the market, easy to consume, has a high and stable price. The growth period of the yellow horn chili is short, from planting and caring for about 2 months to harvest; every 3 days it will be harvested once, lasting about 1 month. On average, 1 hectare of chili will yield more than 1 ton, after deducting production costs, farmers earn about 40-50 million VND/hectare.
