SJC gold price returns to the game, DOJI gold surpasses 121 million VND/tael
As of 3:00 p.m. on July 21, 2025, today's gold price on July 21, 2025 in Hanoi , Ho Chi Minh City and Da Nang of SJC and DOJI all recorded a significant increase compared to the previous trading session. Specifically, the price of SJC gold bars was listed at VND 120.0 million/tael (buy) and VND 121.5 million/tael (sell), with both directions increasing by VND 300,000/tael.
Similarly, DOJI Group also witnessed a more impressive increase, with the buying price of VND 120.0 million/tael and the selling price of VND 121.5 million/tael, an increase of VND 500,000/tael in both directions.
Gold prices simultaneously exceed the peak of 121 million VND/tael
Mi Hong is also not out of the increasing trend, listing the buying price at 120.5 million VND/tael and selling price at 121.5 million VND/tael, an increase of 300 thousand VND/tael.
At PNJ, gold bar price was recorded at 115.1 million VND/tael (buy) and 118.0 million VND/tael (sell), an increase of 400 thousand VND/tael in both buying and selling directions.
Vietinbank Gold only listed the selling price at 121.5 million VND/tael, an increase of 300 thousand VND/tael.
Bao Tin Minh Chau also adjusted the price up, with the gold buying price at 119.7 million VND/tael and the selling price at 121.2 million VND/tael, an increase of 200 thousand VND/tael for both directions.
Notably, Phu Quy has an increase in the difference in two directions: buying price reached 119.2 million VND/tael (up 500 thousand VND/tael) and selling price reached 121.2 million VND/tael (up 200 thousand VND/tael).
9999 gold ring price increased slightly
As of 3:00 p.m. today, the price of 9999 Hung Thinh Vuong round gold rings at DOJI is listed at 116.1-118.6 million VND/tael (buy - sell); an increase of 200,000 VND/tael in both buying and selling compared to yesterday. The difference between buying and selling prices is at 2.5 million VND/tael.
Plain gold ring price today 7/21/2025 increased simultaneously
Bao Tin Minh Chau listed the price of gold rings at 116.3-119.3 million VND/tael (buy - sell); an increase of 200 thousand VND/tael in both buying and selling prices compared to early this morning. The difference between buying and selling prices is at 3 million VND/tael.
Phu Quy Gold and Gemstone Group listed the price of gold rings at 115.0-118.0 million VND/tael (buy - sell), an increase of 200 thousand VND/tael in both directions. The difference between buying and selling is 3 million VND/tael.

World gold price, at 3:00 p.m. on July 21, 2025 (Vietnam time), the world spot gold price was at 3,366.10 USD/ounce. Today's gold price increased by 18.2 USD. Converted according to the USD exchange rate at Vietcombank (26,340 VND/USD), the world gold price is about 111.17 million VND/tael (excluding taxes and fees). Compared with the domestic SJC gold bar price on the same day (120.0-121.5 million VND/tael), the current SJC gold price is about 10.33 million higher than the international gold price.
Gold prices today, July 21, 2025, on the world market increased on Monday, mainly due to the weakening of the US dollar. Investors are closely following the latest developments in US trade negotiations and waiting for important information from the US Federal Reserve (FED) policy meeting next week, which could have a big impact on the market. Specifically, spot gold prices increased by 0.6% to 3,369.02 USD per ounce. US gold futures also increased by 0.5% to 3,376.40 USD.
According to Tim Waterer, chief market analyst at KCM Trade, the dollar’s “weak” start to the week has created an opportunity for gold to rise early, especially as the tariff deadline approaches. He also emphasized that as the crucial August 1 deadline approaches without a new trade deal, the likelihood of gold continuing to rise to $3,400 and possibly higher is very high.
The US dollar fell 0.2% against other major currencies, making gold cheaper for holders of other currencies. This usually encourages buying of gold. Investors are also watching trade talks ahead of US President Donald Trump's August 1 deadline. While US Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick remains optimistic about the possibility of reaching a deal with the European Union, uncertainty remains. There have even been reports that Mr Trump may visit China or meet with President Xi Jinping on the sidelines of the APEC summit in South Korea.
Markets are also looking ahead to the European Central Bank (ECB) meeting later this week. The ECB is expected to keep interest rates unchanged at 2.0% after a series of previous cuts. Meanwhile, Fed Governor Christopher Waller said last week that he still believes the US central bank should cut rates at its policy meeting next week. Gold, considered a "safe haven" in times of economic uncertainty, tends to rise in a low-interest-rate environment.
