Domestic gold ring prices this morning continued to increase as brands adjusted.
Saigon Jewelry Company (SJC) early this morning raised the price of 1-5 chi gold rings to 86.2-87.9 million VND/tael (buy - sell), an increase of 200 thousand VND per tael in both buying and selling compared to yesterday's closing price.
Similarly, Doji Gold and Gemstone Group early this morning also raised the buying and selling price of 9999 gold rings to 86.4-87.9 million VND/tael, an increase of 200,000 VND per tael in both buying and selling compared to yesterday's closing price.

Opening the trading session on January 23 , the price of SJC 9999 gold increased by 200 thousand VND/tael in both buying and selling compared to the closing session yesterday, up to 86.4-88.4 million VND/tael (buying - selling).
The price of 9999 gold was listed by Saigon Jewelry Company Limited (SJC) at 8:33 a.m. and the price of 9999 gold was listed by Doji Jewelry Group at 8:44 a.m. as follows:

The central exchange rate on January 23 announced by the State Bank was 24,328 VND/USD, down 4 VND compared to the previous trading session. The USD price at commercial banks this morning (January 23) was commonly listed at 24,890 VND/USD (buy) and 25,280 VND/USD (sell).
At 8:37 a.m. today (January 23, Vietnam time) , the world spot gold price was at 2,753.8 USD/ounce, down 1.2 USD/ounce compared to last night. The price of gold futures for February 2025 on the Comex New York floor was at 2,763.9 USD/ounce.
On the morning of January 23 , the world gold price converted to USD bank price was over 84.7 million VND/tael, including tax and fees, about 3.7 million VND/tael lower than the domestic gold price.
In the world, as of 6:00 p.m. on January 22 (Vietnam time), the spot gold price today was at 2,755 USD/ounce. Gold for February 2025 delivery on the Comex New York floor was at 2,767 USD/ounce.
The world gold price on the night of January 22 was about 33.5% higher (692 USD/ounce) than at the beginning of 2024. The world gold price converted to the bank USD price was VND 85.3 million/tael, including taxes and fees, about VND 2.9 million/tael lower than the domestic gold price as of the end of the afternoon session on January 22.
After slowing down for only half a session, world gold prices quickly increased again after Mr. Donald Trump did not delay and announced a tariff specifically for China, increasing by 10% from February 1.
