SJC listed the price of gold bars at around 124.4 million VND/tael for buying; 125.4 million VND/tael for selling (an increase of 600 thousand VND/tael for both buying and selling).

Phu Quy SJC listed gold price around 123.4 million VND/tael for buying; 125.4 million VND/tael for selling (up 600 thousand VND/tael for both buying and selling).

Bao Tin Minh Chau listed today's gold price around 124.4 million VND/tael for buying; 125.4 million VND/tael for selling (up 600 thousand VND/tael for both buying and selling).

Plain round gold rings are traded by businesses at 117.5 million VND/tael for buying - 120.5 million VND/tael for selling (an increase of 300 thousand VND/tael for both buying and selling).

In the world gold market, the spot gold price closed yesterday in the US up 32.8 USD to 3,348.5 USD/ounce. In the Asian session this morning, the gold price reversed and decreased 5.3 USD to 3,343.2 USD/ounce.

Gold futures for December 2025 delivery on the Comex New York floor increased by 29.8 USD, equivalent to 0.89%, to 3,388.5 USD/ounce.

Gold rallied sharply, supported by a sell-off in U.S. stock indexes and some fresh technical buying as equity traders grew increasingly concerned about a volatile September and October for U.S. equities.

Forecasting the gold trend, UBS analysts said that persistent US macroeconomic risks, the trend of de-dollarization and strong investment demand - especially from exchange-traded funds (ETFs) and central banks - are the main factors driving gold prices to new record highs.

At the same time, the major Swiss bank raised its first-quarter 2026 gold price target by $100 to $3,600 an ounce and now expects 2025 to see the strongest bullion demand since 2011.
