Gold price sets new record, nearly 82 million VND/tael

This is the highest price ever for SJC gold bars. Compared to the beginning of March, SJC gold bars increased by 3.3 million VND/tael, equivalent to 4.2%.

SJC gold bar price increased by nearly 82 million VND/tael

Ring gold continued to increase by 200,000 - 250,000 VND per tael. SJC Company bought at 66.9 million VND, sold at 68.25 million VND; Bao Tin Minh Chau Company bought at 67.68 million VND, sold at 68.88 million VND; Doji Group bought at 67.5 million VND, sold at 68.8 million VND... Ring gold increased by 4.3 million VND/tael in just the first 7 days of March, equivalent to an increase of 6.6%.

Domestic gold prices increased following precious metals on the international market. World gold prices increased by 17 USD/ounce, to 2,057 USD/ounce, at one point reaching nearly 2,160 USD/ounce, breaking the record price set in December 2023. According to the bank exchange rate, the world gold price is equivalent to 64.75 million VND/tael. SJC gold bars are still higher than the world price at 17 million VND/tael, while gold rings are 4 million VND/tael higher.
