SJC gold bar price re-established the mark of 124 million VND/tael

This morning, August 8, domestic gold price increased and re-established 124 million VND/tael in the context of rising world precious metal prices.

Early this morning, the world gold price reached 3,403 USD/ounce, up 33 USD compared to the lowest level in last night's trading session, equivalent to the increase compared to the same time the previous day in the context of this commodity continuing to increase reserves.

At 9:00 a.m., the gold price was trading at 3,385.4 USD/ounce, nearly 17 million VND/tael lower than the domestic gold price.

In the domestic market, at the opening, businesses listed the price of SJC gold bars at 122.6 million VND/tael (buy) - 124 million VND/tael (sell), an increase of 200,000 VND/tael each way compared to the end of the previous day.

Meanwhile, the price of gold rings remained unchanged. Bao Tin Minh Chau Company Limited listed plain round gold rings at 117.8 million VND/tael (buy) - 120.8 million VND/tael (sell), unchanged from the end of the previous day.

Saigon Jewelry Company Limited continues to set the price at 116.8 million VND/tael (buy) - 119.3 million VND/tael (sell).

Phu Quy Group also continues to list at 116.8 million VND/tael (buy) - 119.8 million VND/tael (sell).

Yesterday, August 7, the gold price initially remained unchanged, maintaining the level of 122.4 million VND/tael (buy) - 123.8 million VND/tael (sell), then increased by 300,000 VND/tael each way, surpassing the old peak of 124 million VND/tael recorded last April to set a new record of 122.7 million VND/tael (buy) - 124.1 million VND/tael (sell). However, by the end of the day, the gold price returned to the level of the previous day.
