(QNgTV)- In order to complete the project target of 1 million social housing apartments, the Ministry of Construction has requested the Department of Housing and Real Estate Market Management to actively guide the implementation of Resolution No. 201 of the National Assembly on piloting a number of specific policy mechanisms.

The Department of Housing and Real Estate Market Management needs to urgently update the situation and information from localities on the registration of social housing completion targets in 2025 and the following years until 2030. On that basis, clearly identify the reasons for the reduction in social housing construction registration targets of localities and propose tasks, solutions, and responsibilities to resolve and advise the Prime Minister .

In addition, the Department of Housing and Real Estate Market Management needs to closely coordinate with the State Bank of Vietnam to remove difficulties, disburse loans for social housing, worker housing, projects to renovate and rebuild old apartments; and provide loans for young people under 35 years old to buy social housing.

In the first 8 months of 2025, the whole country has implemented nearly 700 social housing projects with a scale of 650,000 units, of which 146 projects have been completed with a scale of more than 100,000 units.
