Will world gold prices fluctuate after the US-Russia summit?
The gap between domestic and world gold prices is widening and is now approaching the previously set record.
Previously in April, the price of SJC gold bars reached a record of 124 million/tael when the world gold price peaked at 3,500 USD/ounce, but at this peak, the world gold price was only around 3,350 USD/ounce.
Investors are currently keeping a close eye on the summit between US President Donald Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin in Alaska. Investors consider this event to be not only of political significance but also potentially having a major impact on the precious metals market, especially gold and silver.
However, there are also opinions that the Russia-Ukraine war has lasted for 3 years. The gold market, cryptocurrency and even the world stock market in recent years have not been affected by the Russia-Ukraine war, so there is no need to worry too much about the price of precious metals fluctuating strongly due to information from this meeting.
