On November 21, the Department of Agriculture and Environment of Ho Chi Minh City informed about the event to promote and connect trade of OCOP products of Ho Chi Minh City in 2025, with the theme: "OCOP Ho Chi Minh City - Integration and Development".

The event gathered the participation of more than 100 booths from localities in Ho Chi Minh City and many provinces and cities across the country. Hundreds of typical OCOP products will be displayed in the following industry groups: Food, beverages, handicrafts, medicinal herbs, processed agricultural products...

In addition, there are product demonstration activities; direct exchanges at booths; live broadcasts introducing OCOP products; unique art performances and promotion of culture, rural tourism - community tourism.

According to the Department of Agriculture and Environment of Ho Chi Minh City, in recent years, the city's OCOP Program has been implemented synchronously and effectively, the quantity and quality of products have been increasingly improved, many typical products, traditional products, and innovative products have affirmed a solid position in the market.

However, in order for OCOP products to truly promote their economic, cultural and brand values, connecting consumption, expanding the supply chain, and creating trading opportunities between OCOP entities and distribution systems, partners, logistics enterprises and consumers are important tasks.

Mr. Nguyen Van Da, Deputy Director of the Department of Agriculture and Environment of Ho Chi Minh City, said that the event to promote and connect trade of OCOP products of Ho Chi Minh City in 2025 will be an important bridge to bring OCOP products closer to the consumer market of the largest city in the country; at the same time, spreading the economic and cultural values ​​​​of the regions to the community at home and abroad.

The event contributes to boosting consumption, expanding the distribution system; strengthening trade connections between OCOP entities and retail, processing, logistics enterprises and consumers; thereby enhancing the brand, increasing competitiveness for typical, traditional and innovative products.

"This is an important activity that contributes to bringing OCOP products closer to the largest consumer market in the country, while spreading the economic and cultural values ​​typical of each region in the context of deep integration," the Deputy Director of the Department of Agriculture and Environment of Ho Chi Minh City emphasized.

The event to promote and connect trade of OCOP products in Ho Chi Minh City in 2025 will take place from November 28 to November 30 at the Revolutionary Traditional House, No. 1 Ba Cu Street, Vung Tau Ward, Ho Chi Minh City.
