Regarding rice, according to updates from the Department of Agriculture and Environment of An Giang province and Lua Gao Viet, currently Dai Thom 8 rice fluctuates at 8,700 - 8,900 VND/kg; OM 380 raw rice fluctuates at 7,200 - 7,300 VND/kg; Soc Det raw rice fluctuates at 7,600 - 7,800 VND/kg; IR 504 raw rice fluctuates at 7,600 - 7,700 VND/kg; OM 5451 raw rice fluctuates at 7,950 - 8,100 VND/kg; CL 555 raw rice fluctuates at 7,600 - 7,800 VND/kg; OM 18 raw rice fluctuates at 8,500 - 8,600 VND/kg; IR 504 finished rice fluctuated at 9,500 - 9,700 VND/kg compared to the weekend.

Regarding by-products, the price of by-products fluctuates from 7,400 - 10,000 VND/kg. Currently, OM 5451 broken rice fluctuates at 7,400 - 7,500 VND/kg; bran price fluctuates at 9,000 - 10,000 VND/kg compared to the weekend.

Recorded in localities today, buying and selling transactions are sporadic, prices of rice of all kinds fluctuate little. In An Giang , buying and selling transactions are based on demand, prices of rice of all kinds are stable.

In Lap Vo, Sa Dec ( Dong Thap ), the quantity is small, all kinds of rice have stable prices. In An Cu - Dong Thap, buying and selling transactions are slow, the prices of all kinds of rice fluctuate little.

At retail markets, rice prices of all kinds remained unchanged compared to yesterday. Currently, Nang Nhen rice has the highest listed price of VND28,000/kg; regular rice fluctuates at VND11,000 - 12,000/kg; Huong Lai rice at VND22,000/kg; long-grain fragrant rice fluctuates at VND20,000 - 22,000/kg; Nang Hoa rice at VND21,000/kg; Taiwanese fragrant rice at VND20,000/kg; Jasmine fragrant rice fluctuates at VND17,000 - 18,000/kg; common white rice at VND16,000/kg; Soc regular rice fluctuates at VND16,000 - 17,000/kg; Soc Thai rice at VND20,000/kg; Japanese rice at VND22,000/kg.

In many localities today, there are few transactions and stable prices. In Dong Thap, farmers offer regular sales, customers buy slowly, and prices are stable.

In An Giang, Can Tho, Vinh Long, buying and selling transactions are still slow, prices of fresh rice are relatively stable. In Tay Ninh, rice in the fields has dried up, farmers offer stable prices, buying transactions are sporadic, prices fluctuate little.

In the export market, Vietnam's rice export prices are similar to those of last weekend. According to the Vietnam Food Association (VFA), the current price of 5% broken fragrant rice ranges from 400 to 430 USD/ton; 100% broken rice ranges from 311 to 315 USD/ton; and Jasmine rice ranges from 448 to 452 USD/ton.
