Today's domestic rice prices, November 19, 2025, tend to decrease slightly in rice but remain stable in paddy. Meanwhile, Vietnam's rice export prices remain unchanged.

The rice market on November 19, 2025 still has no new changes in rice but has a downward trend in rice products.

Rice prices today (November 19) remain stable, there are few remaining rice harvests, and buying and selling transactions are slow.

• IR 50404 rice (fresh) is priced around 5,100 - 5,300 VND/kg; OM 5451 rice (fresh) is traded at 5,300 - 5,500 VND/kg; OM 18 rice (fresh) is priced at 5,600 - 5,700 VND/kg;
• OM 380 rice (fresh) is around 5,700 - 5,900 VND/kg; Nang Hoa 9 rice is priced at 6,000 - 6,200 VND/kg. Meanwhile, Dai Thom 8 rice (fresh) is fluctuating around 5,600 - 5,700 VND/kg.
• The price of IR 4625 sticky rice (fresh) is at 7,300 - 7,500 VND/kg; while IR 4625 sticky rice (dried) is at 9,500 - 9,700 VND/kg. The price of 3-month-old dry sticky rice is trading around 9,600 - 9,700 VND/kg.

Rice prices today (November 19) tend to decrease, trading is still weak, and the amount of white rice OM 5451 and beautiful fragrant rice is low.

• The price of raw rice IR 50404 is at 8,500 - 8,600 VND/kg; finished rice IR 50404 is at 9,500 - 9,700 VND/kg;
• The price of raw rice OM 5451 fluctuates at 7,950 - 8,100 VND/kg; while raw rice OM 18 costs 8,500 - 8,600 VND/kg.
• Raw rice OM 380 is priced at 7,200 - 7,300 VND/kg; finished rice OM 380 is priced at 8,800 - 9,000 VND/kg. Meanwhile, raw rice CL 555 is priced at 7,600 - 7,800 VND/kg.
• The price of IR 504 raw rice fluctuates at 7,600 - 7,700 VND/kg; IR 504 finished rice fluctuates at 9,500 - 9,700 VND/kg. The price of Soc Det raw rice is 7,600 - 7,800 VND/kg. The price of Dai Thom 8 rice is traded around 8,600 - 8,900 VND/kg (down 100 VND).
• Sticky rice price is 21,000 - 22,000 VND/kg; Regular rice is at 11,000 - 12,000 VND/kg; Nang Nhen rice is priced at 28,000 VND/kg.
• The price of long grain fragrant rice is 20,000 - 22,000 VND/kg; Jasmine fragrant rice is 16,000 - 17,000 VND/kg; Huong Lai rice remains at 22,000 VND/kg.
• The purchase price of common white rice is 16,000 VND/kg; Nang Hoa rice is 21,000 VND/kg; Soc Thuong rice is 16,000 - 17,000 VND/kg; and Soc Thai rice is 20,000 VND/kg.
• Taiwanese fragrant rice is currently priced at 20,000 VND/kg; while Japanese rice is currently priced at 22,000 VND/kg.

For by-products, the price of OM 5451 broken rice is at 7,400 - 7,500 VND/kg (down 50 VND), the price of bran is at 9,000 - 10,000 VND/kg.

In the export market, Vietnamese rice prices remain unchanged. Accordingly, 100% broken rice is priced at 314 - 317 USD/ton; 5% broken rice is purchased at 415 - 430 USD/ton; and Jasmine rice is priced at 478 - 482 USD/ton.

Thus, the price of rice today, November 19, 2025, slightly decreased compared to yesterday.

Deploying MRV process in high-quality, low-emission rice production in the Mekong Delta

On November 17, the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment coordinated with the People's Committee of Can Tho City and the International Rice Research Institute (IRRI) to organize a conference to deploy the MRV process and the process of producing high-quality, low-emission rice in the Mekong Delta. The conference agreed to apply the pilot from the 2025/26 winter-spring crop, aiming to replicate it throughout the region in 2027. Specialized agencies will continue to develop a toolkit to monitor the effectiveness of emission reduction and economic benefits for farmers.

Deputy Minister Tran Thanh Nam said that the issuance of the two procedures is a foundation for localities to apply in practice, creating conditions for international cooperation in implementing the 1 million hectare high-quality, low-emission rice project. According to him, this is an important step in bringing Vietnamese rice production to a green, smart and circular direction.

The Deputy Minister requested localities, businesses, cooperatives and farmers to coordinate synchronously so that the processes become new standards. The Department of Crop Production and Plant Protection is assigned to guide localities to apply from the 2025/26 winter-spring crop. The Mekong Delta provinces will review raw material areas, develop growing area codes, trace origins and certify sustainability. At the same time, relevant units will complete the emission reduction verification framework and develop low-emission cooperative models, promote linkage chains and carbon credits in agriculture .
