Rice price today, November 18: Exported rice fluctuates, rice price remains stable

Rice prices today, November 18, 2025 in the Mekong Delta region did not fluctuate much.

Regarding rice, according to updates from the Department of Agriculture and Environment of An Giang province and Lua Gao Viet, Dai Thom 8 rice has decreased by 100 VND/kg, ranging from 8,600 - 8,900 VND/kg; OM 380 raw rice for export fluctuates at 7,200 - 7,300 VND/kg; Soc Net raw rice for export fluctuates at 7,600 - 7,800 VND; IR 504 raw rice for export fluctuates at 7,600 - 7,700 VND/kg; OM 5451 raw rice for export fluctuates at 7,950 - 8,100 VND/kg; CL 555 raw rice for export fluctuates at 7,600 - 7,800 VND/kg; OM 18 raw rice for export fluctuates at 8,500 - 8,600 VND/kg; IR 504 finished rice fluctuated at 9,500 - 9,700 VND/kg compared to the weekend.

Regarding by-products, the prices of by-products fluctuate from 7,400 - 10,000 VND/kg. Currently, OM 5451 broken rice has increased by 50 VND/kg, fluctuating at 7,400 - 7,500 VND/kg; bran prices fluctuate at 9,000 - 10,000 VND/kg compared to the beginning of the week.

Recorded in localities today, buying and selling transactions are weak, prices of rice of all kinds fluctuate little. In An Giang , buying and selling transactions are sporadic, white rice OM 5451 and fragrant rice have stable prices, prices of other types of rice are stable.

In Lap Vo, Sa Dec ( Dong Thap ), the quantity of rice of all kinds fluctuated little. In An Cu - Dong Thap, the purchasing power was weak, the price of rice of all kinds was relatively stable.

At retail markets, rice prices of all kinds remained unchanged compared to the beginning of the week. Currently, Nang Nhen rice has the highest listed price of VND28,000/kg; regular rice fluctuates at VND11,000 - 12,000/kg; Huong Lai rice at VND22,000/kg; long-grain fragrant rice fluctuates at VND20,000 - 22,000/kg; Nang Hoa rice at VND21,000/kg; Taiwanese fragrant rice at VND20,000/kg; Jasmine fragrant rice fluctuates at VND17,000 - 18,000/kg; common white rice at VND16,000/kg; Soc regular rice fluctuates at VND16,000 - 17,000/kg; Soc Thai rice at VND20,000/kg; Japanese rice at VND22,000/kg.

In many localities today, the remaining rice harvest is low, buying and selling transactions are still going on, and prices are stable. In An Giang, new purchase demand is sluggish, some buyers are slow to buy because the current rice price is difficult to make a profit, and the prices of all types of rice are stable.

In Dong Thap, Can Tho, Vinh Long, the amount of fresh rice left at the end of the season is very little, trading is weak, rice prices are stable. In Tay Ninh, many fields are empty, traders are asking to buy sporadically, prices fluctuate little.

In the export market, Vietnam's rice export prices fluctuate little. According to the Vietnam Food Association (VFA), the current price of 5% broken fragrant rice ranges from 415 to 430 USD/ton; 100% broken rice ranges from 314 to 317 USD/ton; and Jasmine rice ranges from 478 to 482 USD/ton.
