Regarding rice, according to the update from the Department of Agriculture and Environment of An Giang province, the current price of fresh IR 50404 rice fluctuates at 5,100 - 5,300 VND/kg; the price of Dai Thom 8 rice (fresh) fluctuates at 5,600 - 5,700 VND/kg; the price of OM 5451 rice (fresh) fluctuates at 5,300 - 5,500 VND/kg; the price of OM 18 rice (fresh) fluctuates at 5,600 - 5,700 VND/kg, compared to the weekend.

In many localities today, the remaining harvested rice supply is low, the demand for rice purchase is slow, and there are few fluctuations. In Dong Thap , the remaining rice supply is low, traders mainly ask to buy fragrant rice OM 18, the price is stable.

In An Giang , Can Tho, Vinh Long, the amount of fresh rice is low, buying and selling transactions are sporadic, rice prices are stable. In Tay Ninh, the remaining rice supply for harvest is low, buying and selling transactions are sparse, prices fluctuate little.

Similar to rice, according to updates from the Department of Agriculture and Environment of An Giang province and Lua Rice Viet, currently the price of Soc Det raw rice for export fluctuates at 7,600 - 7,800 VND/kg; IR 504 raw rice for export fluctuates at 7,600 - 7,700 VND/kg; OM 5451 raw rice for export fluctuates at 7,950 - 8,100 VND/kg; CL 555 raw rice for export fluctuates at 7,600 - 7,800 VND/kg; OM 18 raw rice for export fluctuates at 8,500 - 8,600 VND/kg; OM 380 raw rice for export fluctuates at 7,800 - 7,900 VND/kg; OM 380 finished rice fluctuates at 8,800 - 9,000 VND/kg; IR 504 finished rice fluctuated at 9,500 - 9,700 VND/kg compared to the weekend.

Regarding by-products, the prices of by-products fluctuate from 7,100 - 10,000 VND/kg. Currently, broken rice 3,4 fluctuates at 7,100 - 7,200 VND/kg; bran prices fluctuate at 9,000 - 10,000 VND/kg compared to the weekend.

Recorded in localities today, buying and selling transactions are weak, rice of all kinds is relatively stable. In An Giang, white rice transactions are still slow, few warehouses buy, rice prices of all kinds fluctuate little.

In Lap Vo, Sa Dec (Dong Thap), the quantity is low, most large warehouses are buying slowly, prices are stable. In An Cu - Dong Thap, purchasing power is weak, prices of various types of rice do not fluctuate much.

At retail markets, the prices of rice of all kinds are the same as at the weekend. Currently, Nang Nhen rice has the highest listed price of VND28,000/kg; regular rice fluctuates at VND11,000 - 12,000/kg; Huong Lai rice at VND22,000/kg; long-grain fragrant rice fluctuates at VND20,000 - 22,000/kg; Nang Hoa rice at VND21,000/kg; Taiwanese fragrant rice at VND20,000/kg; Jasmine fragrant rice fluctuates at VND17,000 - 18,000/kg; common white rice at VND16,000/kg; Soc regular rice fluctuates at VND16,000 - 17,000/kg; Soc Thai rice at VND20,000/kg; Japanese rice at VND22,000/kg.

In the export market, Vietnam's rice export prices remained stable compared to the end of the week. According to the Vietnam Food Association (VFA), the current price of 5% broken fragrant rice fluctuates between 415 and 430 USD/ton; 100% broken rice fluctuates between 314 and 317 USD/ton; and Jasmine rice fluctuates between 478 and 482 USD/ton.
