The 5th Congress of the Youth Union of the Ministry of Industry and Trade, term 2025 - 2030, marks the maturity and aspiration to contribute of the Ministry's youth.

On the afternoon of November 10, in Hanoi, the 5th Congress of the Youth Union of the Ministry of Industry and Trade , term 2025 - 2030, took place solemnly. Deputy Minister Nguyen Sinh Nhat Tan, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the Ministry of Industry and Trade attended and delivered a speech directing the Congress.

Attending the Congress were Mr. Le An Hai, Chairman of the Vietnam Trade Union of Industry and Trade; Ms. Nguyen Minh Hue, Acting Head of the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department of the Party Committee of the Ministry of Industry and Trade; Mr. Bui Hoang Tung, Secretary of the Government Youth Union; Ms. Nguyen Thi Kim Anh, Secretary of the National Assembly Youth Union; Mr. Tran Tuan Anh, Secretary of the Youth Union of the Central Party Office; Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Son Tung, Secretary of the Youth Union of the Government Office ; together with representatives of the leaders of the Departments, Offices, and units under the Ministry and 137 typical delegates representing the affiliated Youth Unions.

The Congress was organized on the basis of consensus between the Party Committee, the Ministry's leadership and the Government Youth Union Standing Committee. The Congress consisted of two main working sessions, with key contents: approving the review report of the Executive Committee of the 4th term, 2022 - 2027 term; the political report of the Ministry's Youth Union Executive Committee of the 4th term; electing the new Executive Committee and the delegation to attend the 1st Government Youth Union Congress; discussing and approving the orientation for the 2025 - 2030 term and the Congress Resolution.

Comrade Bui Hoang Tung, Secretary of the Government Youth Union, presented flowers to congratulate the Executive Committee of the Youth Union of the Ministry of Industry and Trade, term IV.

Speaking at the Congress, Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Nguyen Sinh Nhat Tan, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Ministry's Party Committee, emphasized that in the past term, the Youth Union of the Ministry of Industry and Trade has achieved many outstanding results. The union members have been proactive, creative, and have many new and good ways of doing things; at the same time, they have promoted their intelligence and sense of responsibility, linking the union movement with the political and professional tasks of the industry.

“Youth work is always the responsibility of the Party and the entire political system. With the good tradition and the current favorable environment, I believe that after this Congress, the work of the Youth Union and the youth movement of the Ministry of Industry and Trade will have a stronger development, more courage, more confidence, more creativity, more aspiration to contribute more, making positive contributions to the cause of building and developing a sustainable and modern industry and trade sector”, Deputy Minister Nguyen Sinh Nhat Tan emphasized.

In addition to the achieved results, the Secretary of the Youth Union of the Ministry of Industry and Trade frankly pointed out the contents that need to be learned from experience, and at the same time requested the entire Union to continue to innovate working methods, improve work efficiency, more closely link with professional tasks and build a modern and professional office culture environment. Education work needs to be deployed proactively and flexibly, linked with major events and holidays of the country and the industry, creating a strong spread throughout the Ministry.

In his speech, Comrade Bui Hoang Tung, Secretary of the Government Youth Union, emphasized the role of developing high-quality young human resources as one of the three strategic breakthroughs identified in the draft documents of the 14th National Party Congress. He expressed his belief that the new Executive Committee will inherit and promote the spirit of initiative and creativity, making the Youth Union of the Ministry of Industry and Trade a bright spot among the Government agencies.

At the solemn session, the Congress voted to pass the Resolution, reaching high consensus on the goals, directions and key solutions for the 2025 - 2030 term; at the same time, calling on all union members and youth of the Ministry of Industry and Trade to promote tradition, enhance the pioneering and creative spirit, and contribute to the successful implementation of the Ministry's political tasks in the new period.

Within the framework of the Congress, there were also special performances, songs praising the homeland, country and youth, creating a solemn yet intimate atmosphere, arousing pride, solidarity and aspiration to contribute in each member.

The 5th Congress of the Youth Union of the Ministry of Industry and Trade is an important milestone, demonstrating the maturity of the youth of the Ministry of Industry and Trade in the new period.
