Trust in the new term
The Congress of the Youth Union of the Ministry of Industry and Trade for the 2025-2030 term takes place in the context of the whole industry's strong transformation towards modernization, digitalization and deep integration. Not only is it an important political event, the Congress is also an opportunity for each union member and youth to look back on the past journey, and at the same time, to place their hopes on a new term, where the aspirations, intelligence and mettle of the youth of the Industry and Trade sector continue to be affirmed.
Sharing her expectations ahead of the Congress, Ms. Dang Anh Dao, Deputy Secretary of the Youth Union of the Institute for Strategy and Policy Research on Industry and Trade, said that the young generation in the Ministry's agencies have many opportunities to demonstrate their capacity and creativity, but also face many challenges.

“What I and many other members expect most is that the new Executive Committee will create more intellectual playgrounds and digital skills practice environments for young people in the agency sector. In the era of artificial intelligence and data economy , equipping members with technological thinking and innovation capacity is extremely necessary,” said Ms. Dang Anh Dao.
According to Ms. Dao, the youth of the Ministry of Industry and Trade have many advantages in having early access to fields such as e-commerce, clean energy, and Industry 4.0. However, the important thing is how to transform that knowledge into action, into specific initiatives to serve work and the community. She hopes that the Ministry's Youth Union will continue to promote its role as a "bridge" between the Ministry's leaders and union members, between policy thinking and practical action, so that each union member feels accompanied, encouraged and inspired.
From the perspective of a journalist, where every piece of information and every image contributes to shaping social awareness, Mr. Tran Ngoc Tien, Executive Committee Member of the Youth Union of the Industry and Trade Newspaper, sees his expectations in terms of communication and spreading values.
“I hope that the Youth Union of the Ministry of Industry and Trade will continue to promote the pioneering and creative spirit of young people in communication work and spread the image of the Industry and Trade sector. In recent years, the Union has had many meaningful activities such as promoting digital transformation, developing green economy, or supporting young people to start a business. In the next term, I hope the Union will be more active in applying technology and artificial intelligence to connect union members and spread the humanistic values of the sector,” said Mr. Tran Ngoc Tien.

According to Mr. Tien, creative communication activities that are close to young people will be the bridge for union members to feel more clearly their role in the development of the Ministry of Industry and Trade in particular and the country in general. "A modern Union organization must be at the same time a center of solidarity, a source of innovation and a space to spread positive energy," he emphasized.
Take action to turn expectations into reality
Looking back at the past term, the mark of the youth of the Ministry of Industry and Trade is evident in many activities: from digital transformation initiatives in management, administrative reform, to volunteer movements, humanitarian blood donation, environmental protection, and support for agricultural product consumption during the pandemic. Each activity demonstrates a spirit of dynamism, responsibility and aspiration to contribute.
Looking forward to the new term, young union members hope that these values will continue to be nurtured through specific, practical and professional programs. Representing the generation of young union members working at the Institute for Strategy and Policy Research on Industry and Trade, Mr. To Viet Anh shared his hope that the Ministry's Youth Union will continue to organize practical programs related to professional expertise, such as seminars on digital transformation in trade, or green economic solution innovation competitions.
"That helps union members not only practice political qualities but also develop professional skills, so that each person can contribute a small part to the development of the industry," said Mr. Viet Anh.
According to young union members, today's young generation needs to access interdisciplinary knowledge to adapt to the context of rapid integration and technology. Viet Anh believes that a union member of the Ministry of Industry and Trade in the digital age must not only understand trade policy, but also grasp technology, understand communication, have good teamwork and foreign language skills. Therefore, if the Union can implement soft skills classes or connect students, young cadres, and businesses in practical projects, the vitality of the Union organization will be stronger than ever.
From that reality, many opinions say that in the 2025 - 2030 term, the Youth Union of the Ministry of Industry and Trade needs to clearly identify key orientations to meet the new requirements of the digital transformation and international integration period. First of all, it is necessary to continue to focus on building strong political will, standard public ethics and the spirit of serving the Fatherland in each union member. This is the foundation for the youth of the Industry and Trade sector to always maintain faith, ideals and responsibility in their work, contributing to affirming the image of dedicated, capable and courageous young cadres.
In addition, promoting digital transformation and innovation in Union activities is also an inevitable requirement. Union activities need to be more strongly digitized, from managing union members, implementing movements to organizing communication campaigns on digital platforms. That is not only a way for the Union to keep up with the trend of the times, but also creates conditions for union members to access technological knowledge, promote youth in a modern and flexible working environment.
In addition, the Youth Union of the Ministry of Industry and Trade needs to create a comprehensive development environment for young people, where each member has the opportunity to learn, practice, test and assert themselves. An open, creative, interconnected environment between generations will be the foundation to spread the spirit of "Youth of Industry and Trade - brave, creative, pioneering", contributing to fostering young resources with enough capacity, qualities and aspirations to contribute to the development of the industry and the country.
Ms. Dang Anh Dao emphasized: “A new term is only truly meaningful when we not only talk about aspirations, but also take action to turn aspirations into concrete results. I believe that with the spirit of solidarity and innovation, the Youth Union of the Ministry of Industry and Trade will continue to be a strong political and social organization, where every member is proud to contribute.”
With the trust, expectations and companionship of today's young union members, the Youth Union of the Ministry of Industry and Trade will certainly continue to affirm its pioneering role, not only in carrying out the political tasks of the industry, but also in inspiring, arousing the desire to contribute and spreading good values of Vietnamese youth in the digital age.
