The 5th Congress of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of the Ministry of Industry and Trade, term 2025 - 2030, was held in the exciting competitive atmosphere of the youth of the whole country, striving to achieve achievements to celebrate the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, towards the 12th National Congress of the Union, term 2026 - 2031.

Speaking at the opening of the Congress, Ms. Nguyen Ngoc Tam, Acting Secretary of the Youth Union of the Ministry of Industry and Trade, term IV, emphasized that the Congress is an important political forum for the youth of the Ministry of Industry and Trade, where the will, intelligence and aspiration to contribute of more than 1,000 union members and young people in the whole industry converge; demonstrating the mettle, intelligence, spirit of solidarity, innovation and creativity; affirming the vanguard and pioneering role of the youth of the Industry and Trade sector in the cause of economic, industrial, trade and national digital transformation development.
“This is an important first step, demonstrating the serious, scientific and highly responsible working spirit of the Congress, with the slogan 'Youth of Industry and Trade - Solidarity, pioneering, bravery, creativity'” , Ms. Nguyen Ngoc Tam clearly stated.

The Acting Secretary of the Youth Union of the Ministry of Industry and Trade, term IV, also expressed his belief that the 5th Congress of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of the Ministry of Industry and Trade, term 2025 - 2030, will be an important milestone, affirming the position, role and youthfulness of the Youth Union in the era of digital transformation and international integration; at the same time, encouraging and arousing the pioneering spirit, creativity and aspiration to contribute of the youth of the Industry and Trade sector in building a modern, green and sustainable Vietnamese industry and trade, contributing to the successful implementation of the goal of developing a prosperous and happy country.

The Congress was held on the basis of consensus between the Party Committee, the Ministry's leadership and the Government Youth Union Standing Committee. The Congress consisted of two main working sessions, with key tasks including: Approving the review report of the Ministry's Youth Union Executive Committee for the 4th term, 2022 - 2027, and the political report of the 4th term Executive Committee; electing the Ministry of Industry and Trade's Youth Union Executive Committee for the new term, and electing the Delegation to attend the 1st Congress of the Government Youth Union for the 2025 - 2030 term; reporting on the direction of activities of the Executive Committee for the new term, and approving the Congress Resolution.
The first session of the Congress was held to examine the qualifications of delegates, approve the program, working regulations, elect the Presidium, Secretariat and the Delegate Qualification Examination Board, elect the Executive Committee of the Youth Union of the Ministry of Industry and Trade, term V, elect the Delegation to attend the first Congress of the Government Youth Union, term 2025 - 2030, and at the same time prepare conditions for the solemn session that will take place this afternoon.
