Regarding rice, according to updates from the Department of Agriculture and Environment of An Giang province and Lua Rice Viet, currently, raw rice for export Soc Det increased by 200 VND/kg, fluctuating at 7,600 - 7,800 VND; raw rice for export IR 504 fluctuated at 7,600 - 7,700 VND/kg; raw rice for export OM 5451 fluctuated at 7,950 - 8,100 VND/kg; raw rice for export CL 555 fluctuated at 7,600 - 7,800 VND/kg; raw rice for export OM 18 fluctuated at 8,500 - 8,600 VND/kg; raw rice for export OM 380 fluctuated at 7,800 - 7,900 VND/kg; OM 380 finished rice fluctuates at 8,800 - 9,000 VND/kg; IR 504 finished rice fluctuates at 9,500 - 9,700 VND/kg compared to yesterday.

Regarding by-products, the prices of by-products fluctuate from 7,100 - 10,000 VND/kg. Currently, broken rice 3,4 fluctuates at 7,100 - 7,200 VND/kg; bran price fluctuates at 9,000 - 10,000 VND/kg compared to yesterday.

Recorded in localities today, the market is slow, trading is weak, rice of all kinds fluctuates little. In An Giang , warehouses are slow to buy rice of all kinds, rice prices are relatively stable.

In Lap Vo, Sa Dec ( Dong Thap ), the quantity is low, most large warehouses are still buying slowly, prices are stable. In An Cu - Dong Thap, buying and selling transactions are weak, rice prices fluctuate little.

At retail markets, the prices of rice of all kinds remained the same as yesterday. Currently, Nang Nhen rice has the highest listed price of VND28,000/kg; regular rice fluctuates at VND11,000 - 12,000/kg; Huong Lai rice at VND22,000/kg; long-grain fragrant rice fluctuates at VND20,000 - 22,000/kg; Nang Hoa rice at VND21,000/kg; Taiwanese fragrant rice at VND20,000/kg; Jasmine fragrant rice fluctuates at VND17,000 - 18,000/kg; common white rice at VND16,000/kg; Soc regular rice fluctuates at VND16,000 - 17,000/kg; Soc Thai rice at VND20,000/kg; Japanese rice at VND22,000/kg.

Similar to rice, the price of OM 5451 (fresh) rice fluctuates between 5,300 - 5,500 VND/kg; the price of OM 18 fresh rice fluctuates between 5,600 - 5,700 VND/kg; the price of IR 50404 (fresh) rice fluctuates between 5,100 - 5,300 VND/kg; the price of Dai Thom 8 (fresh) rice fluctuates between 5,600 - 5,700 VND/kg, compared to yesterday.

In many localities today, trading activities are weak and prices are stagnant. In Dong Thap, rice trading is quiet, traders rarely buy new rice, prices are stable. In An Giang, rice harvest is low, trading activities are weak, and rice prices are stable.

In Can Tho, purchases are sporadic, purchasing power is slow, and rice prices fluctuate little. In Tay Ninh, rice harvests are sporadic, transactions are slow, and prices are relatively stable. In Vinh Long, the remaining rice in the fields is low, and buyers are sporadic, and prices are stagnant.

In the export market, Vietnam's rice export prices remained unchanged compared to yesterday. According to the Vietnam Food Association (VFA), the current price of 5% broken fragrant rice ranges from 415 to 430 USD/ton; 100% broken rice ranges from 314 to 317 USD/ton; and Jasmine rice ranges from 478 to 482 USD/ton.
