Rice price today November 5: Market is quiet

Rice prices today, November 5, 2025 in the Mekong Delta region fluctuated little.

Regarding rice, according to the update from the Department of Agriculture and Environment of An Giang province, currently the price of IR 504 raw rice for export fluctuates at 7,600 - 7,700 VND/kg; Soc Det raw rice for export fluctuates at 7,500 - 7,600 VND; OM 5451 raw rice for export fluctuates at 7,950 - 8,100 VND/kg; CL 555 raw rice for export fluctuates at 7,600 - 7,800 VND/kg; OM 18 raw rice for export fluctuates at 8,500 - 8,600 VND/kg; OM 380 raw rice for export fluctuates at 7,800 - 7,900 VND/kg; OM 380 finished rice fluctuates at 8,800 - 9,000 VND/kg; IR 504 finished rice fluctuated at 9,500 - 9,700 VND/kg compared to yesterday.

Regarding by-products, the prices of by-products fluctuate from 7,000 - 10,000 VND/kg. Currently, broken rice 3,4 increased by 100 VND/kg, fluctuating at 7,000 - 7,200 VND/kg; bran prices fluctuate at 9,000 - 10,000 VND/kg compared to yesterday.

Recorded in localities today, buying and selling transactions are moderate, rice of all kinds is stable. In An Giang , purchasing power is weak, white raw rice is in short supply, rice prices fluctuate little.

In Lap Vo, Sa Dec ( Dong Thap ), the incoming quantity is low, most large warehouses are still buying slowly, prices are stable. In An Cu - Dong Thap, buying and selling transactions are weak, few warehouses are buying, prices are relatively stable.

At retail markets, the prices of all types of rice remained unchanged compared to the beginning of the week. Currently, Nang Nhen rice has the highest listed price of VND28,000/kg; Huong Lai rice is VND22,000/kg; regular rice fluctuates between VND12,000 - 14,000/kg; long-grain fragrant rice fluctuates between VND20,000 - 22,000/kg; Nang Hoa rice is VND21,000/kg; Taiwanese fragrant rice is VND20,000/kg; Jasmine fragrant rice fluctuates between VND16,000 - 18,000/kg; common white rice is VND16,000/kg; Soc regular rice fluctuates between VND16,000 - 17,000/kg; Soc Thai rice is VND20,000/kg; Japanese rice is VND22,000/kg.

In many localities today, dry rice is being offered for sale in large quantities, fresh rice transactions are quiet, and prices are relatively stable. In Can Tho, purchasing power is slow, rice harvest is low, and fresh rice prices are stable. In Vinh Long, the remaining amount of rice in the fields is low, and buyers are asking to buy sporadically, and prices are fluctuating little.

In Dong Thap, farmers are offering fresh rice at stable prices, with weak transactions and few new purchases by traders. In An Giang, rice harvests are scattered in some areas, with few transactions, and stable rice prices.

In the export market, Vietnam's rice export prices remained unchanged compared to yesterday. According to the Vietnam Food Association (VFA), the current price of 5% broken fragrant rice ranges from 415 to 430 USD/ton; 100% broken rice ranges from 314 to 317 USD/ton; and Jasmine rice ranges from 478 to 482 USD/ton.
